Konta Through to the 1/4 finals

kontJohanna Konta became the first British woman to reach the Wimbledon quarter-finals since 1984 with a hard-fought win over France’s Caroline Garcia.

Sixth seed Konta won 7-6 (7-3) 4-6 6-4 on Court One to reach her third Grand Slam quarter-final.

The 26-year-old goes on to face Romanian second seed Simona Halep.

My Tip back on April’s Fools Day was no practical joke!!I advised to back her at 20/1 after I had nibbled away at the price in January, February and March of this year. See my first Post re this FREE Tip-

Ronnie O’Sullivan looking a good bet as advised by Mr Hood at 5/1 in the World Championships

OSullivan_inset-1024x58120 years ago today Ronnie O’Sullivan recorded a record that will never be beaten- A 147 maximum break in 5 minutes 20 seconds or 320 seconds if you like.

To relive this massive feat in an unbelievable time click on the below link-

Today he leads 10-6 over Shaun Murphy going into the final session tomorrow of this second round match.

I have advised Clients to back him at 5/1, 4/1 and 7/2. He is now as low as 9/4.

May calls snap Election hours after my last Blog

With Teresa May calling a snap General Election today for 8th June, the Bookmakers have been inundated with bets on the next Labour Leader and why not? Corbin and Labour don’t stand a chance, going on all the Polls,  the likelihood of Labour looking for a new leader post 8th June is heavily odds on.

My Selection David Milliband is as low as 8/1 from 20/1 today.

See my Blog from yesterday

And my Blog 25-2

Not even Mr Hood could predict todays snap General Election.

See the below odds for Next Labour Leader

Ladbrokes are still 16/1, I advise taking all double figured odds.

Labour fall 4 points further behind in the polls, to the Conservatives

My tip for David Milliband to be next Leader of the Labour Party could start gathering pace soon, a new poll by ComRes suggests that The Conservatives are on 46% and Labour on 26%.

The four point gain raises fears in the Party that the upcoming local elections could be disastrous for Labour.

The big question is will Corbin go now or after the election? Either way I think Labour supporters want to see a strong character leading the party and an end to Unite’s dominance of the party. ‘David Milliband is the man’  says Mr Hood ‘and 20/1 is still available… get in there!!!!’

Britain’s Got Talent up and running in its 11th year…with plenty of Media commentary

After the first Saturday show I think I have seen this year’s potential winner. A show that again covered the weird and wonderful, many fans of the show took to Twitter to lambaste Amanda Holden and her plastic fake face and there were plenty of #doga trends flying around on Saturday and Sunday.

I am not prepared to give anything away at this stage to unregistered punters, but safe to say Premium Clients could be in for a windfall this year,  whether it be on outright markets,  winners of semi-finals and whom to lay on Betfair.

Latest tip from Mr Hood-The Rocket 🚀

Just over a week after I successfully tipped up Sergio Garcia to win the Masters on the final day at 5/1, I have now declared my tip for the World Snooker Championship – Ronnie O’Sullivan. I tipped him to my private clients before he won on Sunday and the same price is still available after his emotional press conference, after his win.

I have followed The Rocket 🚀 since his first appearance aged 17 on Big Break and since then he has gone in to take 5 World Championships and I fully expect him to make 2017 number 6. Yes he is without doubt in the hardest half of the draw, but to win he has to beat the worlds best and  that I fully expect him to do.

I think he is a man on a mission, and after  his instruction of solicitors to act on his behalf to fight the threatening letters from Barry Hearn and his bunch of Cronies, I feel he has a massive point to prove. A focussed and angry O’Sullivan will be a hard man to beat.

Good luck Ronnie.

Sergio to win Masters on what would be Seve’s 60th Birthday

Having watched the first three days of the Masters and seen Justin Rose shoot a fine 67 on Saturday, I  am putting my money on Sergio Garcia. His putting is still suspect, but I believe he will give himself enough chances today.

Paired in the final group with Rose, I feel the 5/1 offered are good odds for the Spanish golfer to win his first Major. I will be tuning in from Nerja in Spain and hoping to have a double celebration come midnight.
